Race, Recover, Race - Week 6 XC Round-up

Race, Recover, Race..

NCAA Conferences done - now Regionals

Following the commencement of the competitive end of the NCAA XC season last week, this weekend was very quiet. Such is the way the schedule works from here until the end of the season, each busy week tends to be followed by a quiet week as teams recover and get ready for the next race. Only three British athletes competed this weekend. Adams State’s Stephen Emery continues to adapt to racing and training at altitude by finishing 10th in the Metro State Invitational in Denver. Ethan Heywood also won the Metro Conference at Van Cortlandt Park in NYC. This was a first collegiate win for the Norwich-born athlete.

Next week should be one of the highlights of the regular season as most teams with NCAA aspirations will lock horns at one of Wisconsin, Arkansas, or Louisville.
