Tom Farrell silenced his critics by narrowly missing a medal in a snowy Budapest. The Oklahoma State athlete was selected for the senior team without competing in the trial, and in doing, he was picked over Frank Tickner. The Cumbrian athlete finished top 10 in the NCAA XC, the best finish by a Brit in many a year.

Fellow NCAA athletes, Breandan O’Neill and David Rooney, finished for Ireland respectively in 22nd and 38th place.

Despite redshirting his freshman season at Iona, Kieran Clements proved again the depth in the NCAA with a 3rd place finish in the men’s junior race. Full results along with the few earlier NCAA indoor results are listed below.
