Athlete Feature 35 – Chris and Olivia O’Hare

I suppose we should apologise for being so-Tulsa centric on this site…but we feel we’ve got every right to be given the success that our alma-mater is having. Given the announcement yesterday that Chris O’Hare will be running again in the Wanamaker Mile at the Millrose Games – a race being billed as an attempt at Batty’s NCAA record, incidentally set at 3:54 in the augural Armory-held Millrose Games – we thought we’d catch up again with the Tulsa Senior. We’ve had brothers on as a feature before (Joe and Tom Wade), but never brother and sister. So, beside Chris, we have younger sister Olivia who is in her freshman year at Tulsa. From Peebles to Tulsa, here’s an insight into the O’Hare fascination with the NCAA’s beating heart these days, Oklahoma. Chris talks about the Wanamaker mile, his indoor season plans, while Olivia reflects on her first semester in the Mid-West
