Conference cross country weekend is consistently regarded as one of the best of the entire athletic year. The meet where school patriotism is often at its best and where in-conference rivalry is fiercest.  Whilst the NCAA Championship is of course the pinnacle event in the season, conference events offer many more schools the chance to win silverware and athletes earn the all important rings to show off around campus.

As per usual, plenty of domestic athletes tasted success in their respective conference events. Marc Scott helped lead Tulsa to a dream start to life in the AAC Conference following their move away from C-USA. The Yorkshireman took the individual title as well as leading his Golden Hurricane team-mates to their fifth consecutive cross conference title.

As expected, Iona were comfortable victors in the MAAC Championship. Quite often a tradition when a team dominates an event, their scoring men crossed the line uncontested as a big group with Jake Byrne officially coming out on top. NCAA contender Kate Avery was once again the winner in the ladies event.

Whilst individual success eluded Joe Franklin’s large British contingent in the MWC, both of his teams ran out easy winners in what is known as being a very competitive conference. His teams were led by Jake Shelley (3rd -Mens) and Alice Wright (4th -Womens).

*Results now updated to include the Southland Conference Championship. Congratulations to British coach Darren Gauson for guiding his teams to both the mens and womens team and individual titles. Sam Stabler emphasized his growing credentials as a possible All-American candidate in Terre Haute with a 13 second victory in the mens race. Leigh Lattimore was the leading Brit in the ladies race, finishing second behind team-mate Minttu Hukka.
