British NCAA collegiate cross country results

Seddon and Peel lead the way

A pair of victories from the Florida State duo of Zak Seddon and Georgia Peel highlighted the British NCAA cross country performances over the weekend. Competing at the Virginia Tech Alumni Invitational, the Seminole athletes took top honours in the mens and womens races which both contained big competitive fields; including teams such as Akron, Virginia Tech, and Cincinnati. Team mate Jack Goodwin also had a solid run finishing 4th, just three seconds behind Seddon.

Elsewhere, the only other top three performer from the weekend was JP Williamson. The Lindsey Wilson College athlete took 3rd place at the Berea College Invitational.

We are pleased to say the season truly gets going this weekend, with a host of high quality meets taking place across the US. Some of these include:

- Coast to coast battle in Beantown (Boston)

- Roy Griak Invitational (Minnesota)

- Cowboy Jamboree (Oklahoma State)

- Stanford Invitational (Stanford)

Please see below for weekend results. We are still working on collating who the Irish athletes are – so readers please get in touch.
